Metallica have shared a new message from frontman James Hetfield, warning fans to avoid fake social media accounts created in his name.
The band tweeted, “Papa Hett will be delighted when he reads this…” followed by a message from Hetfield, “Steal my identity, spread misinformation and cause harm to others.” Added people are online.
“There are scammers and predators out there. This is out of my control, but you can control who you connect with.
